Felix Janosa (* 1962)
Circles in a Square World
Piano
These 24 piano pieces are characterised by stylistic diversity and an original fusion of classical, jazz, and pop. Oscillating between day and night moods, the preludes and nocturnes captivate with musical coherence and pianistic refinement.
Magnus Lindberg (* 1958)
Piano Concerto No. 3
2 Pianos (Piano, Orchestra)
Composed in 2022 and premiered in 2024 by Yuja Wang (piano) and the San Francisco Symphony under the direction of Esa-Pekka Salonen. The Wall Street Journal commented: “Mr Lindberg’s work, in three distinct movements, teases music lovers with homages to Ravel and Debussy, Prokofiev and Rachmaninoff, Liszt and, in the finale, Gershwin. But in doing so, the composer achieves that rarest of admixtures, a work that recalls the greatness of others while creating a sound world entirely his own.”
John Williams (* 1932)
Indiana Jones Piano Solo Collection
Piano [Organ]
Get ready for adventurous journeys on the piano with this fantastic new collection of ten popular themes from the Indiana Jones film series. Each theme is transcribed for advanced to challenging piano solos and has been personally approved by John Williams!
Ihor Shamo (1925 – 1982)
12 Préludes
Piano
The 12 Préludes represent Ihor Shamo's most comprehensive cycle, both in terms of its duration and its richness and expressiveness. The sequence follows the circle of fifths, similar to Chopin, Scriabin, or Shostakovich. It is remarkable that the cycle stops halfway, treating only the first twelve keys, as if the next twelve are still to follow... .
Jörg Widmann (* 1973)
Bunte Blätter
2 Pianos
After an early mini-piece for this arrangement, these Bunte Blätter are my first real piece for two pianos. It has become a collection of highly varied and diverse pieces and forms, from waltzes to the danse macabre, from a fanfare to a circus parade.

Anton Bruckner (1824 – 1896)
Symphony No. 0 in D minor
Organ
Bruckner's Symphony in D minor, the so-called 'Zero', was composed in 1869 and is musically related to his Third Symphony, for example in the escalating beginning over a bare fifth. Elements of his Second Symphony are also noticeable, particularly in the Scherzo. Despite the parallels, the Zero remains a unique, original early work by Bruckner.

Rheinberger's large-scale Christmas cantata *The Star of Bethlehem* is one of the most popular and well-known works by the composer. Frédéric Chopin
Nocturne op. 9/2
Violin, piano
One of Chopin's most popular melodies shines in Sarasate's masterful arrangement for violin. In this virtuosic version, violin virtuoso Pablo de Sarasate captures the emotional depth and elegance of Chopin's original work while maintaining the flowing, lyrical character of the melody.
Benjamin Godard
Deux Morceaux op. 36
Violin/ cello, orchestra
Benjamin Godard is one of those musicians whose creative work has almost completely fallen into obscurity. The miniatures *Sur le lac* and *Sérénade* are lovely examples of Godard's inventiveness, melodiousness, and charm – ideal for home music-making or as encore pieces in concerts.
Johannes Moschner
String Carousel

Arrangement of Händel’s *Passacaglia* for string quintet and piano.
Woodwinds
Alessandro Marcello (1669 – 1747)
Concerto in D Minor
Oboe, Strings, Basso Continuo
Marcello’s oboe concerto in D minor has become a standard work in oboe studies, and a Christmas season without this catchy piece is unthinkable. It was published around 1716. Even before that, J. S. Bach made a transcription for harpsichord (BWV 974) from this work. Since many of Bach’s embellishments can be well realized on the oboe, editor Himie Voxman included them in this edition. He took care not to mix Marcello’s original with “Bach’s additions.” All editorial additions are clearly marked.

Dorothea Hofmann (* 1961)
Cat’s Cradle
3 Flutes (Trio)
Cat’s cradle uses a closed string or cord to create various figures through simple finger movements: they are found in various cultures around the world. Dorothea Hofmann’s Cat’s Cradle employs different scales: pentatonic, heptatonic, and octatonic – reflected, figuratively, in the names: the 5-point, 7-point, and 8-point star. The three identical flutes imitate, intertwine, and influence each other – with surprising turns that create a new unity. The three movements can be performed together or separately.

La Clarinette enchantée
Clarinet
In this collection aimed at clarinetists from their early years of playing, Guy Dangain has selected 30 themes by Mozart, including melodies from *The Magic Flute*, *Don Giovanni*, and *Eine kleine Nachtmusik*. All the melodies have been adapted for the chalumeau register, improving embouchure control, airflow, and finger technique. This collection is also suitable for older children starting on the bass clarinet.
Petite Complainte
Flute, Piano
Based on a fragment from his ballet *The Tale of Cinderella*, Frank Martin wrote a “reading piece” for oboe in 1941 for the “Concours National d’Exécution Musicale de Genève”. Without Martin’s knowledge, oboist Heinz Holliger often performed this piece in public. This new arrangement for flute and piano closely follows the original, with the exception of a small change that better highlights the climax of the first solo compared to the oboe version.
Rainer Lischka (* 1942)
Step by Step
2 Recorders (SA)
Unlike plants, humans and animals can actively move, and in humans, this is called walking. In his eleven duos, “Step by Step,” Rainer Lischka humorously portrays various foot movements in music: hiking, strolling, hopping, tiptoeing, dancing, and even Charlie Chaplin’s walk. The level of difficulty varies but is manageable for advanced players, with a focus on enjoyment and rhythmic independence.
Brass

Frank Bernfried Wegmann
Italy Medley
2 Trombones (C)
Frank Bernfried Wegmann’s *Italy Medley* combines three well-known Italian songs – Tarantella, Bella Bimba, and Santa Lucia – in a challenging, two-part arrangement. The combination of these traditional melodies offers a varied and musically challenging experience, bringing Italian flair to life in a special way. Bring Bella Italia home!
Barbara Heller (* 1936)
Air Trails
Trumpet, Piano
After some experiments with trumpet and piano, Heller envisioned almost soloistically floating trumpet lines supported by sparse piano sounds. Enthralled by the long breath and touched by the sound of the trumpeter, *Air Trails* emerged. The piano provides the space for the sky, where contrails leave traces for a short time before disappearing again.

Kristina Arakelyan (* 1994)
Six Brass Cats
Trumpet [Flugelhorn], Piano
Mollie, Coco, Colonel Whiskers, Sylvester, Oscar, and Luna are six cool characters who enjoy playing solos on B-brass instruments. Award-winning composer Kristina Arakelyan has written her favourite melodies and added catchy accompaniments to create *Six Brass Cats* for young brass players on trumpet, cornet, and flugelhorn. Whether grooving with Oscar, falling asleep with Sleepy Sylvester, dancing with Luna, or marching with Colonel Whiskers – there is plenty of feline fun to be had, and the music is so technical that it will also make teachers purr.

The work is based on a melodic theme that transforms in character, tempo, time signature, and harmony, accompanied by train signals. These symbolise both the identity of Lillestrøm as a “railway town” and the musical journey of the band through a century.
Gottfried Hummel (* 1968)

Friedrich Dotzauer
Pot-pourri for Cello and Guitar, Op. 21
Cello, guitar
During the 1810s, Dotzauer wrote three opuses involving the guitar, making us assume there could have been a player to serve as source for his inspiration. This Pot-pourri, Op. 21, composed around 1811 and marked for publication by Breitkopf & Härtel only in 1817, is a 9-minutes-long piece in five parts in the key of E minor.
