Description
The Flute Quintet op. 68 is one of the last works of Adolf Busch. It was written in 1949 during his American exile, two years before his death. Shortly after completing the Quintet, Busch founded the “Marlboro School of Music” in the U.S. state of Vermont together with his son-in-law the pianist Rudolf Serkin, his brother Hermann and other partners.
