A new arrangement of this piano favourite, The Gypsies works well for this larger ensemble. The melody is passed throughout the group and none of the parts is too difficult. It is a character piece depicting the mysterious nature of gypsies on their travels. Quickly articulated passages show off the lightness that brass players are capable of.
