The Sasso Nero is a 3369m high mountain in the Zillertal Main Ridge in the Aurine Alps. It crosses the border between the Italian province of South Tyrol and the Austrian province Tyrol. The beautiful landscape around this mountain inspired Michael Geisler to compose this wonderful concert march.
