Das Posaunenkonzert von Nikolai Rimski-Korsakow wurde im Jahre 1877 komponiert. Es besteht aus 3 Sätzen.

Die Sätze 2 und 3 enthalten gegen Ende jeweils eine Kadenz.

In der damaligen Garnisonsstadt Kronstadt (auf einer Ostseeinsel vor Sankt Petersburg) fand am 16. März 1878 die Uraufführung statt.
