"Exodus" is a 1960 film about the years after the Second World War, when numerous Jewish people emigrated to Palestine and founded the State of Israel there exactly sixty years ago.
Ernest Gold, who himself had to emigrate from Austria to the USA in 1938, wrote the music for this film and was awarded an Oscar and a Grammy for it. Naohiro Iwai created this arrangement of the moving title melody from the film.
