I Heard the Voice of Jesus

Here is a mesmerizing, much-loved English folk melody, KINGSFOLD, set to a Scottish poem which speaks of the words of Jesus. Each verse of the hymn is structured around words from the gospels (Matt. 11:28: John 4:14, 1:4-9), all centered on the invitation of Jesus to come and follow. The simple handbell accompaniment makes this an ideal choice as a choral response to one of these gospel readings
