My Faith, My Hope

Based on George Herbert's poem "The Call," this original anthem approaches the text both as a personal expression of faith and a general statement. The very tender verse, "Come, my Joy, My Love, my Heart," is set in a lower, gentler key, with sweet dissonance. The music then rises to the original tonality for a final, triumphant statement.
