Frank Mantooth is one of today's most creative arrangers for jazz ensemble and he treats us here to a marvelously unique take on this well-known standard. The style is straight-ahead swing but the harmonic structure is fresh andthe ensemble writing is super. It starts with alto and trumpet on the melody and includes solo space for any combination of alto, trumpet or trombone.
