This tender melody was originally a choral work titled “All Praise to Thee” with text based on Gelobet seist du, Jesu Christ from a chorale written by Martin Luther and first published in 1524. Preston Hazzard has beautifully reimagined this work for winds capturing the rich harmonies and haunting melody of the original.
