Laude were short medieval devotional songs to the Virgin Mary, and Gavin Bryars has kept to the pure, lyrical style of the originals. This is the sixth volume to be published and includes laude composed for voices and ensemble providing new opportunities for performers and audiences to experience these beautiful works.
