Description
This piece was commissioned by one graduating class of the course in ensemble and wind band conducting at the Upper Austrian Music School. The piece is dedicated to the teacher Konrad Ganglberger who instructed the class all the 4 years until their graduation.
One of the first exercises in the education of a designated conductor is the so called conducting chain, which is a seamless sequence of seven bars with individual lengths of 1 to 7 quarter notes in ascending order. The conducting chain...
