Description
‘Chi Mai’ (Italian for ‘Whoever’) is a composition by Ennio Morricone (1928–2020) from 1971. It was first used in the film Maddalena (1971), and later in the film Le Professionnel directed by Georges Lautner (1981). The BBC release of the theme reached number two in the UK Singles Charts. Parts of the melody appeared in a piece entitled ‘Invito All’Amore’ from Sergio Corbucci’s 1968 spaghetti western ‘The Great Silence’. ‘Chi Mai’ is also well known in France because it was used for a Royal Cani...
