Spacebound Apes

Spacebound Apes is a 2016 concept album from the celebrated Neil Cowley Trio who received the 2007 BBC Jazz award for their album ‘Displaced’. This unique album features 11 tracks that transport the listener to an our reach. Spacebound Apes is a story told through words, music and images. The Spacebound Apes book contains the complete story, written by Neil Cowley himself, along with full-colour illustrations by Sergio Sandoval and Pianotranscriptions for all 11 tracks from the album. A unique code is also included, giving you access to an immersive online experience that combines animations, backing tracks and on-screen notation.
