James Weeks ' Sacred Muses for Trumpet and Organ. 2 x performing scores. Sacred Muses is a transcription of Byrd’s elegy for Tallis, Ye Sacred Muses, in which the original has undergone a process of erosion into a new form. It was written at the request of Alison Balsom.
