Description
Sardine for cello and piano by Freya Waley-Cohen.
This work was written while at Tanglewood Music Centre as a composition fellow. It was first performed on 15 August 2016 at the Tanglewood Chamber Music Hall by George Fu and Francesca McNeeley.
The title was inspired by the poem “Why I Am Not a Painter“ by Frank O’Hara, 1926 – 1966.
