Description
First performed by Ensemble of the Musikhochschule conducted by Zsolt Nagy at Velte Saal, Musikhochschule, Karlsruhe, 10 February 1992
When I first began my studies in Germany and I tried to talk, in very simple German or English, about my music, I always had this image in my mind: Behind the Velvet Curtain.
I chose these 4 instruments (trumpet, piano, harp, cello) to produce a unique palette of timbres. A single melodic line reaches through different textures and moments of silence.
