A new tradition is born in this set of expressive carols based on original poetry by the composer. The writer, Terry Esau, was inspired by the Alfred Burt Carol legacy and, in this set, hehas gathered together a winsome grouping of his own holiday songs. There is a rich harmonic vocabulary in his writing that wonderfully cradles the thoughtful texts with gentle beauty.
