Zunächst drängte sich mir für ein maximal zehnminütiges Stück eine kleine Form mehr auf, als die für diese Besetzung übliche kammermusikalische Sonatenform. Mein zweites Augenmerk galt der Durchsichtigkeit, oder besser gesagt, der Durchhörbarkeit der Partitur. Die drei Instrumente (und Instrumentalisten) stehen in respektvoller, gegenseitiger dynamischer Gleichberechtigung zueinander, zugunsten eines transparenten Hörerlebnisses. (Hans-Günther Allers)
