It all began at the young age of 12, when the child prodigy Mozart wrote his "Orphanage Mass" for the Court in Vienna, in honour of the inauguration of the orphanage’s new chapel.
In the last six months of his career, Mozart composed his most famous sacred works, Mozart’s Requiem, and the hugely popular Ave Verum Corpus by Mozart.
