Two Equale for three trombones were composed by Bruckner in St. Florian in January 1847.
This editions offers the Equale in two versions. The first is an Urtext, preserving the original markings, with the first part notated in alto clef, the second in tenor clef, and the third in bass clef. The editor's suggested dynamics and other markings are shown in brackets.
The second version is scored entirely in bass clef for younger performers, but the version is otherwise identical to the first.
