Première Rhapsodie (Published 1910) Petit Pièce (Published1910)
für Klavier und Violine
Claude Debussy composed two chamber music works for the clarinet. He wrote his Première Rhapsodie and his Petite Pièce as mandatory pieces for the wind competitions at the Paris Conservatoire. With their lyrical tone colours and focus on cantabile melodies, Debussy's sound ideal is evident in both pieces as if under a burning glass. Both are now also available for violin and piano, arranged by pianist and composer Dejan Lazi?.
