Neil Diamond wrote his Crunchy Granola Suite when he moved to Los Angeles in the 1970s and learnt about macrobiotic crunchy granola as part of a health-conscious lifestyle. The lyrics of this cheerful song even suggest that eating muesli is perhaps even healthier than visiting a psychologist ... The song became even more popular when the famous Percy Faith Orchestra made an instrumental version of it. It served as the theme tune for a number of radio programmes, and for good reason.
