Herr, erbarme dich - Ehre sei Gott in der Höhe - Heilig - Lamm Gottes
Die Marcellinus-Messe entstand als Auftragskomposition des Männerchores "Gesellschaft der Freunde 1856 Seligenstadt". Gemeinsames Ziel der Auftraggeber und des Komponisten war, zeitgenössische geistliche Musik, die auch für einen Laienchor a cappella realisierbar ist, zu schaffen. Wert gelegt wurde auf die Verwendung der deutschen Sprache, da es neben der berühmten Schubertmesse kaum Alternativen gibt. Die Uraufführung fand im Festgottesdienst zur Eröffnung der Seligenstädter Wallfahrt 2013 statt.
