This edition of his Laudate Coeli Dominum is based upon_x000D_a hand-copied score by an unknown copyist. The piece begins with a_x000D_bass solo proclaiming the words "praise the Lord from the heavens",_x000D_repeated immediately by the choir. Each subsequent phrase is first_x000D_sung by the bass, and then answered by the choir, ending with the_x000D_words from Psalm 97:3 "the Lord hasmade his salvation known. He hasrevealed His justice."
