Während im Anfängerheft die leichte Spielbarkeit und auch die leichte Lesbarkeit (alles im Vier-Vierteltakt notiert) im Vordergrund stand, sind die TANGO SEGUNDOs im Vier-Achteltakt notiert. Somit findet eine Gewöhnung an ein für Tangos typisches Notenbild mit vielen Sechzehntel- und Zweiunddreißigstel-Noten statt.

Im mittleren Schwierigkeitsgrad angekommen zeigt sich TANGO SEGUNDO von seiner melodischen Seite.
