Why Have The Fallen Gone?

Incorporating "America the Beautiful with the title tune, Russell Robinson gives us a rich, newly composed patriotic anthem. The question "Why have the fallen gone?" is answered, they go to preserve "peace for all of us." Halfway through the work, "America the Beautiful" is introduced. It can be performed by a double-chorus or with audience participation as the work concludes with both the title melody and America the Beautiful sung simultaneously.
