A work for mixed voices and piano setting the text of the Danish poet, novelist , essayist and editor, Inger Christensen. Christensen was considered the foremost Danish poetic experimentalist of her generation. Sommerfugledalen - et requiem (Butterfly Valley - a requiem) was written in 1991 and is a sequence of sonnets known as a sonnet redoublé.
