Aulos Symphony (fourth symphony) is conceived as a classical structure in four movements. The first movement is based on the theme represented by the letters forming its title: Aulos (A - Ut - La - dO (ut) - G / B) (A-C-A-C-G/B) in different combinations and with alternative themes, its first theme being: A - C - Ab - C# - G. It represents the conceptual birth and further development of the ensemble. In its Lento - Allegro Lento - Allegro form, this movement generates a fusion between Impressionism and post-romanticism.
Its second movement, Allegro, describes the intense dedication and creation of ideas conceived for later development.
The third movement, Lento-Andante, evokes the sensitivity experienced in the realisation of these projects.
Its last movement, Allegro Moderato- Poco meno mosso ma giocoso- Con spirito- Tempo Iº, will bring the festive concept of the celebration for which the work is conceived, recreating the theme presented in the first movement A C Ab C# G, along with instrumental references to R. Strauss, C. Debussy, as well as a traditional Swiss song.
