The Anglican Chant Book

The purpose of this book has been to gather into a single volume those Anglican chants - until now dispersed among many different collections - that are considered by expert opinion to be both worthy compositions in themselves and suitable for general use in parish churches.

Almost every chant book in existence has been examined, and many hundreds of different chants have been considered, the inclusion or rejection of each one depending upon the opinion of the majority of a board containing a large number of Church musicians, both professional and amateur.
