Winterland

"Winterland" by Kees Vlak is a holiday impression from the Alps.

The first breathtaking sight of the mighty mountains is symbolized by a majestic fanfare. The cross-country skiers start their sport early in the morning amidst the winter landscape. When you are on the trail you can enjoy the varied nature to the fullest. They are filled with a great joy that is spreading more and more in them. Finally the lunch break is approaching. The runners gather for a picnic and it even starts to snow a little. After the lunch break the cross-country skiers are no longer just among themselves, because many winter sports enthusiasts and other "piste lions" are now romping around on the ski slopes. Fast and cheerful music sounds far beyond the slopes. The day ends musically with a magnificent view of the majestic mountain peaks.
