Description

In dieser Bearbeitung spielt das Schlagwerk eine tragende Rolle, indem es zwischen den einzelnen Liedern (Puer nobis nascitur, Es ist ein Ros' entsprungen, In dulci jubilo) zur Überleitung renaissance-typische Rhythmen spielt. Ein besonderer Effekt wird erzeugt, indem vier Bläser und ein Schlagzeuger anfangs aus der Ferne spielen. Eine optionale zusätzliche Trompeten-Stimme, ursprünglich für Sopran-Saxophon gedacht, verziert die Melodie.
